Where Do I Sign a District of Columbia Title?

Sign on the back of the title, in the upper left corner where it states “Signature of Seller.”

Print your name where it states “Printed Name of Seller.”

Can I Sell a Car in the District of Columbia Without a Title?

The District of Columbia DMV requires a title to sell a vehicle. If your title is lost, duplicate titles can be obtained from the DMV.
