Where Do I Sign a Montana Title?

Your title MUST BE NOTARIZED. Do not sign until you are in front of a Notary!

You will sign on the front of the title where it reads “Signature of Seller.”

You will print your name where it reads “Printed Name.”

Can I Sell a Car in Montana Without a Title?

Montana requires a title to sell a vehicle. If your title is lost, a replacement title can be obtained from the MVB.
