Can I Sell a Car in Vermont Without a Title?
Vermont requires a title to sell a vehicle that is 15 years old or newer based on calendar year. For example: from January 1, 2017 through December 31, 2017, Vermont will title vehicles with model year 2003 or newer. If your title is lost, a replacement title can be obtained from the DMV.
