Where Do I Sign a Washington Title?
Washington requires a signature in two places. Sign the front of the title where it is marked "Registered Owner Signature" and "First Legal Owner Signature & Title."
Sign the bottom of the title where it reads "Signature(s) of Seller(s)."
Print your name on the bottom of the title where it reads "Printed Name(s) of Seller(s)."
Can I Sell a Car in Washington Without a Title?
Washington requires a title to sell a vehicle. If your title is lost, a replacement title can be obtained from the Department of Licensing.

Is There a Washington Title Transfer Fee?
In Washington state the title transfer fees are $12, but you must transfer your title within 15 days. If you don't there is a $50 penalty with a $2 per day fee of up to $125. In the case of needing a duplicate title you need to pay $31 for a replacement Washington title along with the $12 title transfer fee.
