Where Do I Sign a Connecticut Title?
Sign on the back of the Connecticut Title on the top left side in the “Transfer by Owner” section. Sign where it reads "Signature of Seller".
Print your name to the right where it reads “Printed Name of Seller.”
Can I Sell a Car in Connecticut Without a Title?
The Connecticut DMV requires a title for vehicle sales. Connecticut does not require a title for vehicles over 20 model years old. If your title is lost, duplicate titles can be obtained from the Connecticut DMV.
