Title Transfer PA - How the Process Works

How to Transfer a Car Title in PA

When you sell a car in Pennsylvania you must go through a PA car title transfer. However, the state of Pennsylvania requires a notary title transfer, which means when you sign your title a notary must be present. Notarizing a car title in PA should be pretty easy though. All you have to do is make an appointment with a notary which can be found at your local bank or post office. Once you arrive with a valid ID, you pay a small fee and they will notarize the title after you sign it in their presence.

Now that you know how to notarize a car title in PA, where exactly are you supposed to sign it?
